Communicating Important Dates with Parents and Students

Use Google calendar to communicate important dates with students and parents.  Google calendar allows you to share the calendar via e-mail, it can send text message reminders to calendar members, and can be embeded into online resources.  Use it as a daily agenda with different colors for each class or a simple over view to keep parents informed about what is happening in the classroom and what is to come.
